Four months of use on my landscaping and site prep jobs and the HY35C has been reliable and capable. The Yanmar engine is dependable, the enclosed cab is comfortable, and the 3.5-ton class handles my typical job site demands. My ongoing frustration is the operator's manual — clearly translated from Chinese with several sections that are ambiguous or grammatically unclear. Maintenance schedules are present but torque specifications required additional research. The machine performance easily earns four stars but documentation earns two.
